If Israel wishes to thrive as a democratic Jewish nation, the best option available is as Alan Dershowitz says the Two State Solution. Otherwise, demographically speaking the Arabs have a higher birth rate than Jews and slowly Israel will lose its Jewish majority. The options for it to stay a Jewish state will then become either ethnic cleansing, apartheid or forced expulsion none of which are desirable not to mention a violation of human rights. Therefore, it is better to have two states for two peoples. The Jews can happily control their own affairs and destiny in their state and the Arabs the same in their state.
