Reader comment on item: Niqab Security Outrages at Airports

Submitted by Maureen Cote (United States), Aug 4, 2010 at 22:36

Next question: Will Muslims permit airport personnel to x-ray their women's bodies revealing their breasts, etc? I think not. Christians in the US and Europe, however, will be forced to let themselves be exposed to the prying eyes of high school dropouts. The US has become a police tyranny and money-making scheme for "defense" contractors under the false guise of "security." I'm now more afraid of my "protectors" than the alleged enemies.

Let TSA remove the x-rays and security checks for ALL of us, letting the chips fall where they may. We will be safe, if these security zealots focus their attention on catching the terrorists rather than terrorizing the rest of us.

Stop the x-rays, the Patriot Act-empowered intrusive surveillance via phone, email and fiber optic tv -- as well as the extrajudicial network of punishing "dissidents" that is taking place on an increasingly broad scale, because Congress is too venal to rein in these rogue bureaucracies drunk with power.

At botom, it's not about "defense" but about sucking money into the black budget and into the pockets of "insiders" from the taxpayers' deeply robbed purse.
