Here in the US, women who wear wigs must remove the wig for a "look-see" underneath....when my 80 y.o. mother wore a wig as a result of hair loss associated with her cancer treatments, she was subjected to a thorough search - albeit in a private curtained area! She was quite distressed about the whole procedure, but the NTBA workers didn't give a darn! Orthodox Jewish women are also forced to uncover their heads - remove hats & wigs - here in the US...& I'd suspect even in Canada. Strange how Islamic cover ups are not in the same category!
