England, France, Spain...What about the rest of Europe?

Reader comment on item: India, the Most Pro-Israel Country

Submitted by Isaac Haskiya (Denmark), Apr 26, 2009 at 07:08

Europe has been the most anti-semitic, read anti-Jew, continent through the ages, starting with the Roman Empire. All three countries mentioned have a lot to be ashamed of when the persecution of Jews is concerned, dating back to the fall of the Roman Empire. Their crimes against the Jewish people are a hundred times greater than what they accuse Israel of, today! Why should they change their attitude? It is much easier to say that Jews and Israel are so and so and so and chew their century long clichés relating them to the situation in the Middle East today.

Israel will review its look at Europe only when Europe will review its mercantile interests with the Arab world and its attitude towards its own abundant Arab/Muslim populations. Israel is surely not willing to pay the price of peace in Europe´s main cities!

India, thank you for your opinion. Your being geographically so far away from Europe supports my argument: Europe does not like Jews! Israel must accept to work a lot more with others.
It would be interesting to know the reactions of the Scandinavian countries..
