Our prophet married either to strenghten relations with different tribes or to support widows when their husbands died or killed in wars. Those widows he did not marry he brought them home, clothed and fed them and treaeted them like his own family.Those were noble gestures. He was not a carvan raider. He only raided Meccan's caravan's because Meccans had kicked the muslims out of Mecca and had taken away all their belongings . They were on their way to sell those goods when Prophet raided them. ... He had every right to attack them and recover muslim's belongings. All his wars were in self defence and all the booty was from such conflicts. He was not a child molester because Ayesha was an adult when prophet married her, in arab a girl is considered adult and married off when she menstruates.
