Ibn Masud writes concerning Dhimmi:

Another fine example of poor Muslim logic. Educated people can and do study things which are bizarre, distasteful and even abhorrent. Forensic scientists daily deal with scenes that would turn your stomach. They do so not because they are ghoulish in nature - but so they can arrive at valid conclusions.
Psychiatrists spend years studying the most disturbing conditions of the mind - not because they themselves are disturbed - but so they can understand the disturbed.

"........Did you want to remove your inferiority complex?"

Just guessing but I'd say Dhimmi 'didn't want' to remove an inferiority complex as much as to satisfy an anthropologically based curiousity about the mechanics and seemingly endless capacity of certain groups of humans for self-delusion .
