That's crap. Can you go and live in Russia, China or Japan just because you feel like it or because you believe in 'allah'?

No, but you can sometimes be lucky enough to be permitted , via the generosity of western governments - to live in Infidel societies . And why would you do that?
Because you know you are far better off doing so than staying in a repressive Islamic society. You value the personal freedom that's enshrined in our constitutions. You see that the industry of the people gives them a better life than occurs in fatalistic Islamic cultures. You see that fear and oppression are less, that individualism and endeavour is supported, that focus is given to public health etc etc

Islam is the cause of the backwardness of Islamic cultures - not its solution. People make the point that Muslims living in the west who complain that it's just not Muslim enough for them - have the choice to go back where they came from. Why do so few take it up?
