Zuhdi Jasser is fighting a losing cause

Reader comment on item: Moderate Muslims March in Phoenix

Submitted by Richard A. Wing (United States), Apr 30, 2004 at 22:34

The results of this rally are no more than I would expect! The Qur'an would call people who agree with the American Islamic Forum for Democracy and Dr. Zuhdi Jasser as apostates and the penalties for apostacy are very severe and most unpleasant! With the Wahhabi putting pressure on all Muslims through their Mosques to adhere to a radical and most fundamental interpretation of the Quar'an and the Sunnah it will be most difficult to get large numbers to come out and join his rally for fear of reprisal!
