Low turnout at the Muslim anti-terror demonstration

Reader comment on item: Moderate Muslims March in Phoenix

Submitted by Jonathan Weinberg, M.D. (United States), Apr 30, 2004 at 16:25

One has to wonder if the low turnout at the Muslim anti-terror demonstration was because most Muslims disagreed with the message, or because those who did agree feared retribution if they expressed their opinion. I'm not sure which would be worse.
