Reader comment on item: Moderate Muslims March in Phoenix

Submitted by h yazdi (United States), Apr 30, 2004 at 20:11

I think Dr. Zubir Said will be assassinated if he gathers any sizable followngs. As a Jew who lived among the Muslims half of his life I have come to realization that Islam and tolerance, are incompatible. In Islam the non muslims have very few rights. For example if a Muslim kills a non Muslim he only has to pay for damages. How a true Muslim can live side by side non Muslims if they consider non Muslim impure? And besides no other religion advocates force to accomplish its goals. The Jews expect G-d to take care of them whereas the Muslims are supposed to pick swords and now RPGs and destroy the infidels.
Muslims need a revolution a or modern day Martim Luther to direct them to a right path.
