Is it Radical Islam, or just Islam?

Reader comment on item: Moderate Muslims March in Phoenix

Submitted by Mark Tyler (United States), Apr 30, 2004 at 10:11

At some point we the public have to consider that most Muslims are radical. Moderates may be the exception, not the rule. If that ever wasn't the case, it is now.

A Muslim or Muslim group will speak out loudly against profiling, and the violation of their civil rights, but only sotto voce will they condemn the murder of innocents.

I welcome Mr. Jassar's efforts, but for the time being it is his opinion that is radical in the Muslim world.
