Allah gave Muhammad permission to have 4 permanent wives and as many muta and misyar wives as they wanted. David and Solomon had many wives, Solomon had over 800. He was the only one sexually satisfied. Polygamy is selfish as only the man gets his due. The demons came down on earth and married as many women as wives as they wanted, so polygamy is wrong. Genesis 6:2
