Enough talk. What do we do?

Reader comment on item: Admitting Censorship due to Islamist Intimidation

Submitted by Tom (United States), Apr 2, 2008 at 14:29

Some of us in the US are waking up. I am one. Yet I feel frustrated. I don't know how best to get up to speed on this crisis, and what practical steps I can take to fight this new enemy.

I think it will take more than a strategy to combat this foe; it will take renewed awareness in the West of why its culture is superior to the one we are being threatened by, and why it is worth dying for. This will not be easy, in this age characterized by post-modernism and multiculturalism. We must rediscover objective human values. We must know why we are right, and Islamofascism is wrong.

The war for Western civilization is upon us. I want to fight, and I want to win. What can I do?
