Always cowardly?, always racist? always ditherers?
I'm only replying to your comment James, because since youre smart enough to realise that some europeans are cowardly, racist and dithering then you should be smart enough to realise that not everyone is and that it is a principle of justice that everyone in judged on his or her invidiual merits.

I've come to the conclusion that Facism takes away our freedom by denying us the right to be ourselves - we are labeled an infidel, an evil westerner, a ... capitalist pig, a commie whore, an infection, a nation of peodofiles and perverts. Its true that some armericans are rapists, some european's are 'perverts' but this doesn't meant that ALL americans are rapists, ALL europeans are perverts - but this is exactly what some media in the arab world claims.

EVERY- ALL - NEVER - ALWAYS - are the words that inspire hate and injustice because they make the world simple - "Theres' good guys and there's bad guys - so all we need to do is to kill the bad guys and everyone will be a good guy." Simply find a couple of collective nouns - like Germans, Jews, Gays, Muslims, Iinfidels, Polytheists, Hindus, Blacks, Socialists, Facists, Commies, Nazis, Catholics, Protestants, Americans, Capitalists, Europeans or Irish and equate one group to the good guys and one to the bad guys and you can generate your very own fascist movement with a clear and simple vision that everyone can understand - you can then find real life examples of how some members of the group behaved in a bad way and generalise to all members of that group - and this will 'justify' your claim that the bad guys are ALL really bad.

I've tried this exercise with many different combinations and it does feel good - gives a feeling of certainty and a feeling that there is an easy solution to the problems of the world if only people would wake up to the danger - but of course I know that its not true because they all conflict with each other - It's just a way we can manipulate our minds to feel better or more special.

I hope this is confusing as a reply because it involves looking at the world from a new standpoint - please take time to think - as einstein staid - the significant problems of our time cannot be solved with the same level of thinking that created them.

The question I asked myself after 911 was how were the sucide terrorists manipulated into doing such a crazy act? it's not enough to simply promise someone some virgins a whole irrational belief structure needs to be created. Have you ever tried going into the fetal position on the floor and staring at the carpet for half an hour or more? - how long is it before you zone-out and is your mind in a more or less suggestible state as a result.?

What happens if you teach a child to always wash his hands if he touches excrement or if he touches an unbeliever? Why would changing the language of a book affect the meaning of it unless there's a double meaning that is hidden in the lingustic structure of the language itself - e.g. a joke(pun) or a hypnotic command? what means do islamist use to maintain their belief in the face of critical ideas? and how can we interupt the pattern effectively?

Thanks for making your comment - I enjoyed replying.
