No silk tongue but direct and honestReader comment on item: Throwing out the [Arab-Israeli] Rulebook Submitted by Patti (United States), Jun 18, 2003 at 03:11 Well said! He (W) is using the down home direct, "I'll do it my way", approach. Deposing (de facto) Yasser Arafat is a giant step in the right direction. He may fail but then no one has succeded with the former circuitious routes. A legitimate Palestinian nation is not in the best interest of Arafat and his fellow terrorist. They will make greater and greater trouble if the deal cooking smells sweeter. Unfortunately the press of the Middle East will also contribute to ill will through inflammatory articles and misinformation. Bush will turn a deaf ear but our ignorant (i.e. having lack of knowledge) citizens will begin to clamor "foul". I'm sure the nervous Democrats will certainly fan both of those flames.Keep up the good work!
