Reader comment on item: Where the Nazi "Big Lie" Endures
in response to reader comment: Islamic lies and manipulations

Submitted by Egyptian Christian (Egypt), May 14, 2007 at 20:17

Islamic lies, manipulation, indoctrination, history-falsification and propaganda have created the fixed impression that Egyptians are arabs and were always arabs and muslims.

I am a native Egyptian, I am not arab and I am not muslim, I heared all my life history falsification and intentional denial of my pharaonic and coptic heritage.

I was prevented from learning and talking in my native language. A language that existed even before history.

When the arabs invaded Egypt 1400 ago, they burned the great Library of Alexandria and destroyed many of our Pharaonic heritage. They used the stones of the pyramids to build Mohamed Ali Mosque and other mosques in Cairo. They had practically destroyed our culture and our connection with our ancestors.

They had forced people to islamize by the sword and they are continue doing this through hard and soft force.

An example from this week incidents in Egypt:

A group of Muslim men, angered by plans to enlarge a Coptic church, battled with Christians after last Friday prayers, setting fire to 48 homes and several shops and buildings and injuring at least 11 people. Attackers roamed through the village of Bamha, in Al Ayat, about 15 miles south of Cairo, carrying hatchets and fuel canisters. Muslims reportedly threw firebombs and bricks, and at least 36 Christian houses and businesses were set ablaze before police restored order. The attackers was encourage by the Mosque preacher to attack the christians.

Under Egyptian law, no church can be constructed without a presidential decree. However, mosques are not subject to the same regulation, a fact cited by Egypt's Coptic minority as evidence of discrimination. Christian Copts, who constitute about 10% of Egypt's 80 million people, also complain that the state discriminates against them by denying them proper representation in the government, in job opportunities, in parliament, etc...
