Anti-Zionism is a "PC" code for anti-Semitism, while "anti-Semitism" itself is a misnomer.

in response to reader comment: Question for Mr Pipes

The term "anti-Semitism" was first coined in Western Europe by some Jew hater "intellectuals" in their vain effort to find some "rational and scientific" explanation to this obviously irrational and pathological phenomenon. Apparently they believed that by claiming that their Jew-hatred is only part of a more general hatred towards the whole group of people of Semitic origin, it will sound more "rational" and "scientific". This typical deliberate distortion of the truth is in fact a characteristic overall feature of the anti-Semitic hatred cult, and is not different of all the rest of the lies which it promotes and on which it rests.

Therefore, our super-bright Harrak's claims that "Arabs cannot be accused of anti-Semitism as they themselves are Semitic", is just as false a wisecrack as to rename this old hatred-of-the-Jew tradition "anti-Zionism". Why not? Anti-Semitism sounds disgusting – anti-Zionism is in. That Ahmedinajad was able to round up a few pathetic Jewish weirdos to support his anti-Semitic agenda proves nothing....Hitler had much more supporters among the British, not to mention the rest of Europe.
