My uncles and Grandfather were Irish Peacekeepers in the Lebannon and I agree with Mr Dixon - Muslims see Americans as the militant infidels, a deep rooted hatred as deep as that which runs through the north of my country currently occupied by the British. I would forgive but certainly would see forgetting as folly.

You cannot kill this...only hope that education makes a mark. I hope that Americans will take this to heart too.
