Is Islamism better than Communism?

Dear Dr Pipes: in your response to the above comment you said that Islamism is better than communism. I beg to disagree.

Look at the way 81 Christians were just killed in Pakistan. And look at what is going on in Nigeria. If I have to live as a religious minority I will gladly live in a communist country than in an Islamic country. Suppression of all people equally is far more acceptable than suppression of people selectively. It is a no brainer.
