Reader comment on item: The Danger Within: Militant Islam in America [and Its Dreams of Domination]

Submitted by sula (United Republic Of Tanzania), Nov 16, 2005 at 08:29

I feel sad when i see all this from the American young people. they need to travel throgh the world and appreciate what is happening. The whole of Africa is tantalised by brutal leaders supported by the colonial masters and the US and is ravaged by disease and poverty. Go to the Arab world the home of Islam! you will be suprised. The US is supporting undemocratic Governments who are exploiting the common populations in SAUDI, Jordarn, Egypt etc. Is It doing so in Order to suppress militant islam? The only voice that is heard is that of the men/women who are telling them to resist the atrocities of the rulers supported by the big powers. The voices are so loud that they have even reached the US, now called militant Islam. If billions of money from Africa (Mobutu $4 billions, Kings and Arab presidents) with petro dollars enriching the west and living poor people suffering what do you expect?

By the way most immigrants were opposed to the regimes where they came from. So they must tell western goverments the need to be guided if other people must have peace. Islam is so strong an appeal, let others say what they say - it has remained un corrupt and it has a history of conquring and bringing harmoney and peace to all. its claims is very vivid because i have never seen anbody who disputes its foudamentals and scientific sayings with reality. In it are all major reliegions Christianity, Judism and others. it has a book which escaped (corrution and changes) and can appeal to all human mind. It is now the focus of the world to redeem it and the oppressed see it as agood weapon. In this Era of knowledge and scietific discoveries as well as major deciets by world leaders (Bush and blair about Iraq) I have no doubt that many more europeans and Americans are going to embrace Islam. It may be that the Americans will understand Islam better than the Arabs, because Islam is not racial and probably they will recognise its power and truth and boost it to guide their world and their governments.

Be informed that nobody owns Islam, it belongs to God as the last message to humanity.
Muslims and others could abuse it, but it will remain pure and clear and men of good intentions cannot leave such a treasure it is up for picks whoever likes it. Be assured whoever will pick Islam be western, chinese, japanese Latino or African, will triumph.
