Pipes = Genius

Reader comment on item: Does Israel Need a [Peace] Plan?

Submitted by steve frederick (United States), Feb 3, 2003 at 00:14

I had the privilege of studying under Dr. Pipes at the U of Chicago many moons ago. I didn't think it was possible, but he has become even brighter. Defeat your enemy & then peace is the only answer. Obviously the last 40 years of appeasement & containment didn't work; 9/11 serves as a magnifying moment of clarity to this effect. The defeat of Nazism, Fascism & Radical Islam are worth dying for. When confronted with evil what choice do we have except to ride out to meet it.
