Dr. Pipes clearly defined the "problem" and the solution is obvious!

Reader comment on item: Does Israel Need a [Peace] Plan?

Submitted by Ivan Barna (United States), Feb 3, 2003 at 01:49

Dr. Pipes, your logic is pure and unassailable. You dared to define the problem as "the Arabs desire to destroy Israel" and then offered the only sane solution which is for Israel to win that war so decisively that the Arabs have no choice except to face the reality of defeat. If only our State Department would adopt the simple truth of Dr. Pipes' definition of the "problem" and "allow" Israel to win a clear victory by keeping "world opinion" at bay, future peace in the Middle East would become possible!"
