Excellent! I admire your analysis. I agree completely. There is only one qualification I would suggest. It does not reduce to a point where it is only the Palestinians that need to accept Israel--it is all the Arab states. My sense, first intuitively, and then with firm conviction, after reading Tressler, Morris, and Bodansky, [ Note A ] that the Arab states are the at the core of the problem and not only the Palestinians, as such, in the matter of accepting Israel. Given the existence of massive and overwhelming power, how do you respond to the rebut position that says, a pox on all your power--the Arabs will still will not accept Israel. Now what? I would be grateful for -- your answer; and I know you will not quibble.
