The basic premise, as you point out, is the essential, unequivocal reckoning by the Palestinian Arabs that Israel is, and forever, will be. If the administration, specifically the State Dept, could act based on that idea, the war will end sooner and all people of that area could begin the process of living life without the specter of constant terrorism. The Europeans must put away their anti-semetism and must also adapt to the presence of Israel, and Jews, as they have to the huge numbers of Arabs and Muslims within their own borders.
