The reason the Europeans are teetering on their heels as to the appropo response to militant islamists is that they have disposed of their Christian soul, are thus corrupt and since they can stand for nothing, will fall prey to any group with a strong, focused and purposeful objective.

In the old days of strong Catholic Faith enjoyed by a large majority in Europe, people would pray,ask God for direction and then ACT to rid themselves of whatever might be infecting them. The current group, having forsaken their God, will be consequently delivered up to their enemies as the Hebrews were to the Babylonians. The longer they show lack of fortitude and courage to stand against the islamist brutes, the sooner they will fall.
