Violence will escalate.

The Western world is using modern tactics in dealings with an ancient mindset. While the West has the might, the Muslims have the will. When the West wakes up from it's self satisfied slumber and sees that survival of only one side is a likely reality... heads will roll. I for one would rather fight to a bloody death rather than submit.

Then again, the Muslim world might go through their own reformation and join the modern world...but I wouldn't hold my breath. (while I still have it)
