It is an unfortunate fact, that the Wests' 'civilised' attitude to war and the way it is fought is not recognised by its enemies. It is a problem for democratically elected governments to be able to respond in the appropriate way to Islamists' terrorism.
My feeling is that, Russia, with the West's backing, may be the only country able to respond in the war against terror. But alas, that is not going to happen.
