True Intelligent Humanitarian PrinciplesReader comment on item: The Iraq Dilemma Submitted by Jan Dunn (United States), Jan 11, 2003 at 02:05 I continually find myself disgusted and appalled at man's desire for revenge and more bloodshed. I am amazed that so few can grasp the bigger picture of the fragile nature of this planet, the innocence of most of the inhabitants, and the desire to see the END OF SUFFERING. Does anyone PRACTICE and BELIEVE the Ten Commandments or the Golden Rule? I thank Howard Zinn for putting my thoughts and feelings into words and for giving the world THE HUMANITARIAN VIEWPOINT. It is BRAVE to stand against war in these arrogant times, when so many believe that dropping bombs on people who are already victims will somehow rid the world of terrorism. Howard Zinn is the voice of experience and humility. Thank you to Bill Moyers for his excellent interview.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
