I am afraid that this weak, appeasing, mentality; exhibited by the Italian family in this article; is far too pervasive on the European continent. It seems as if the only thing that Europeans will uniformly stand up for, is to declare their superiority over the U.S.A. They are down on their knees for Islamists, but will take a knife in the neck from them, to prove they are politically correct.

Oh Italy!! Where are your Roman Legions now?? The enemy is through your gates, killing your sons, raping your daughters!! But you will not stand up until they threaten the Vatican. Or maybe not even then.
