What's next?Reader comment on item: The Fatal Stabbing of Angelo Frammartino, Palestinian Apologist Submitted by Pat (United States), Aug 29, 2006 at 14:04 I'm a little surprised to hear that the media had pulled out of Palestine, given that I heard numerous Fox reports from that area while their colleagues were held captive. What was your source? With Steve Centanni's plea for all reporters to continue telling the Palestinians' story, can't we expect the media to refocus its efforts on Gaza and the West Bank once Lebanon is out of the headlines? I saw only snippets of the tape that detailed the Fox reporters' conversion to Islam and that was only after they had been released. That, to me, is an indicator that the US media hasn't really learned anything from this latest episode. Is the dearth of reporting really a media protest or is it simply that they have been forced to cover events in Lebanon and Iran? We'll know soon enough.
