I'm sure you are all aware of the growing amount of stupidity and ignorance in this world so I have no problem believing Americans insult Muslims (Since most Americans believe that all Muslims torch American flags). Michael...how is killing 3 thousand people following any Islamic doctrine? Islam only allows killing when one has been persecuted and unable to practice their religion.
Any course in contemporary world affairs can teach you that the attacks on 9/11 were political not religious. Osama Bin Laden wanted to stop America from interfering in the Middle-East because he was afraid they would steal his precious oil or put in decent governments, like in Afghanistan. Killing Jews is not part of the religion. It isn't Muslims VS Jews, it's Arabs VS Israelis (an ethnic battle). The Arabs demand the country be given back to them because they believe the British Empire unrightfully took it from them and the Israelis believe it was their God-given land.
I do agree that most Muslims are passively allowing terrorism (shyness instilled at a young age in Muslim youths) to occur because they do not want to confront these rebels and try and go on with their normal lives when they themselves are skewing the religion. Islam requires unity, and the lazy majority allow terrorism to reign over Islam so they can keep their oil barrels and remain rich forever.
BTW: Why the heck haven't we attacked Saudia Arabia? I, as a Muslim, feel maddened that the horrible monarchy hasn't been overthrown (even though it supports terrorism or is passive to the thought)? Most of the terrorists came from Saudia Arabia and is a breeding ground for them along with the north west province of Pakistan. So why is it that America has befriended the countries that sponsor the most terrorism?
