Michael, Muslims are not terrifiedReader comment on item: Bibliography - My Writings on Not Trusting CAIR Submitted by Infidel (Canada), Sep 7, 2006 at 13:59 Michael, when I read your comments posted on May 14 and 16, I must say that I was absolutely impressed with your apparent and astute knowledge of Islam. However, when I read your comments posted on June 1, I was rather surprised. Your point that "Muslims must go to bed terrified", and that, "the Muslim concerned about his eternal destiny is terrified and lives in terror", is absolutely wrong. In fact, Muslim men particularly, are so convinced that they will go to heaven, that there is no shortage of suicide bombers. In fact, some of them wrap their genitals in protective cloth so that they are ready to go when they get to heaven and their reward of virgin "houris". I would posit that no believers are as confident of their reward as are Muslims. Knowing whether a Muslim has done more good than evil is not an issue for Muslims. Their commitment to Islam is assured by their practice of the "five pillars of Islam", and they need not be concerned whether he or she has done more good than evil. 1. Profession of faith Other than this small faux pas, I'm impressed with your knowledge of Islam and Christianity.
