quebecoise! you have a good and reasonable suggestion that Iran can (in my expression) do business with the USA and Europe in the middle east spheres of influence. The problem is Israel. As long as there is a Jewishness based state of Israel, there will be no peace. The Beirut Sumit gave birth to the known Arab Intiation for peace backed by the Saudis which is ready to recognize Israel and sign coop and peace agreements with her provided she withdraws to 1967 borders and find a fair solution to the refugees problem. (acording to UN resolutions and SC decrees) . Israel said (and sorry I lost the exact reference) that this Arab proposal is cheaper than the ink that wrote it. Israel needs to coexist with something like Iran to understand that one day, you will need the international law to protect you and therefore may as well abide by it now. They missed the Clinton proposal, they will wish the day Bill Clinton was around in the process...I should salute that man again in this ocasion..
