Slight correction -- or modification

As I recall from my work in TV news at the time, the Iraqi Information Minister was referred to as "Comical Ali" -- a sendup on "Chemical Ali", the nickname given to the diabolical minister who oversaw chemical warfare and, allegedly, the gassing of Kurds many years ago.
