.... As long as the U.S. public accepts that its President may continue in office after launching a devastating war as a result of his having eyes and ears for nothing but opinions (which never did qualify as intelligence) that a rival regime has overwhelming weaponry being readied for use against a democratic ally, the world will be facing a good chance of a long series of wars that could ultimately imperil every institution that more modest and intelligent democrats have created, nurtured and defended.
