Iraq did have WMDs after all!!Reader comment on item: About Those Iraqi WMD Submitted by pctrips (India), Apr 25, 2006 at 12:52 Daniel ... ' Men prefer to believe what they prefer to be true' who said this? Bernard Shaw. Iraq is now hurtling towards a civil war and you have welcomed that prospect as a humanitarian diaster but a geopolitical( strategic.) success. Think of the millions of men and women including US soldiers who are at the battle front. No oil , virtually very little, is flowing out of Iraq. So fighting has become dearer. Bush got the nuclear card out of the closet, Americas last ace, to finally say that nuclear energy is the future. Didn't I say that before sept 11? I am nuclear scientist without job for last twenty years. ...'Terror war' now looks more like a prelude to liquidation of an empire than vision of a free world. Recall Britain after two world wars. Germany after one and France after many. A free world is a mirage in Iraq. Even Thomas Friedman is so disgusted that he has stopped writing...
