(I never said I hated Turkey! My ex husband was useless but that was him , not his religion. Its only after recent events thats I have grown a dislike for muslims and everything they stand for,and I cant see why you don't understand that! )

Ok, so you did not dislike Muslims before. And you even loved, married and gave birth to a child of a Muslim man. But now after the divorce and after 'recent events' you've grown dislike for Muslims. I see, you have personal, national and international reasons to dislike Muslims.

(My Brother worked in Saudi for 7 years teaching Saudis to be pilots, he hated every minute of it but the money was good. )

Oh, really? Then your brother is also like the Muslims who live in Western countries but hate every minute of it. I see..

(we have to be because we're not allowed to air our views as we're very politically correct when it come to muslims!)

If Muslims are so bad then why do you have to be politically correct about Muslims? Why don't you change your laws and rules? Don't you Britons enjoy freedom of speech?

(Also I think you are somewhat mistaken thinking that in the UK I am in the minority with my thoughts on Islam, I think you'll find we're the silent majority,.. Sorry to disillusion you but can't think of anyone that particularly has a good word to say, but I do think they have done enough in recent years to deserve the way we think of them.)

Oh really. I was in London when about 2 million people protested against Iraq war. If you're really from the UK then you may recall that during the visit of Bush to UK, all the tube stations, trains, bill boars were flooded with a particular poster depicting US president hugging your prime minsiter from behind, wrapping him up with an american flag, with the words 'make love and not war'. Remember? Now don't say that the protesters were all Muslims and Immmigrants. I have seen with my own eyes my friends and neighbours going to the protest rally. See the pictures of the protests at different websites and you'll learn that there were thousands and thousands of English protesters as well.

(By the way when I lived in Turkey 18 years ago Muslims were not the problem they are now. )

Now you're talking sense, thank you. If the religion Islam is to blame then you can't say that 18 years ago Muslims were not a problem as they are now! Islam was born some 14000 years ago! If Muslims were not a problem 18 years ago, then there is no problem with this religion and its followers. What happened in the last few decades that changed the scenario of the world politics, Mandy? Did Berlin wall fall during that time? Did Soviet Union collapse? Did we see a new unipolar world? Did we see the main world power lose its only rival, and in search of new excitements? Oh yes, Mandy, you know the answer!
