OK this thread is getting ridiculous, you all are talking like this child has been tried and convicted of something, there has been NO official evidence brought forword there is only the word of the American government to go on so far, and that just cannot be taken at face value. If you are going to condemn someone before even having a trial then you should expect the same treatment yourself. The posts show just how ignorant you people are, its not about freeing this boy to run amok, its about this persons right to be judged fairly by a court of law and not summarily punished without standing trial. We already know that the US cannot be trusted to be impartial or fair. They have people locked away in secret prisons all over Europe, if you really believe that the US should have the right to take citizens to a foriegn nation and then imprison and torture them without trials or evidence, then what was the point of WW2? What is the point of having a legal system?
Whats next? concentration camps and witchhunts for islamic people? it happened once to the chinese in the US and in Canada, and again against the imaginary "communist threat" in the US. This is a dangerous road you are travelling, I read the news and shake my head while watching the US government manipulate you poor stupid souls with lies and misdirection.
Oh and to all you Americans that are posting about Canada harbouring terrorists... uh these are not our enemies, these are enemies you created... maybe if you didn't lie and steal from your own nieghbors they would be more inclined to help you, but personnally I would not stop a terrorist from crossing into the US even if I had the chance because I don't think their fight is any less valid than the one the US is leading against Islam. If you want to use war for profit, you should expect to pay the price. And by the way we want our 5 billion dollars you owe us for softwood lumber tariffs you illegally took from us, you already lost in court, now pay up, we should be turning off your power until you do.
