Dr Pipes you seem to be among a very few voices of truth in an ocean of politically corrects and appeasers . Khadr family and all muslims believe quran to be word of god , Mohammed to be his apostle and his life to be a model to be followed as per quran. Quran says " fighting is prescribed for you"(Q 2.216) and "Allah has bought your life so that you can kill and be killed"(Q 9.111) to anihilate or convert all non muslims to islam. Did not Mohammed behead 900 jews of Bani Quraiza in cold blood and terrorize Arabia after making killing and raping a pious act (killing of infidels and sex with captured and enslaved women is sanctioned by Quran). Khadr family, Ben Laden and other muslim terrorists, are just following the teachings of their scriptures.
