Hitler and his merry band advocated going back to ancient Germanic pagan roots and we all know what a fun guy he was.

Hitler was twisting the ancient religion of my ancestors, just as skinheads and Neo-Nazi do today. Hitler was into the occult and the occult was never part of the pagan religions in northen Europe.

From..www.livingstonemusic.net/hitlerandtheoccult.htm:

*Hitler devoted his life to pursuit of the legendary Holy Grail. The Holy Grail is supposedly the cup or dish used by Jesus at the Last Supper* ...(sounds Christian to me)

*The Ahnenerbe, an arm of the SS commissioned in the mid-1930s to research the ancestral heritage of the Aryan race, roamed far and wide to find proof that only one race was meant to rule the world and that the Nazi vision of purification and world domination was supported by mythic forces. They were to provide scientific documentation that would unite their ancient past with their destiny. Heinrich Himmler saw the men in his army as the reincarnation of Teutonic knights and kings, in particular the knights of King Arthur's round table. He designed Wewelsburg Castle to be their Camelot. On one floor of Wewelsburg Castle was a dark mosaic star that marked this center and over which magical rituals were performed by twelve Nazi officers known as 'The Twelve Knights'*.....( amd if I am not mistaken Sidda, King Arthur's time was during Christian times..was it not?)

*Hitler was trained to be a supreme adept in the arts and ritual of Black Magic by Dietrich Eckart. the leader of a powerful, secret society called the Thule Society. Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorf, an avid fan of Helena Blavatsky, founded the "Thule Society", a spiritualist group which borrowed heavily from Blavatsky's "The Secret Doctrine". Thule in occultic, Greek and Viking lore was the capital of an ancient ice-island called Hyperborea (known in Hindu legend as the "White Isle"), inhabited by superhumans with psychic powers who eventually founded the Aryan race. After an unexplained disaster, survivors of Hyperborea took refuge first in the "West" [meaning west of India, perhaps Babylon?], then in the Gobi desert, and later in Tibet; their spirit mentors retreated to a hidden spiritual center called "Asgard", located in a subterranean city. These beings, headed by one known in Hindu/Buddhist tradition as "the Lama of lamas" or "King of the world", can only be contacted on the spiritual plane. The symbol of this "Master" is the swastika, "symbol of the central power of the gem of Heaven".*..( Asgard is in fact Teutonic..a place in Yggdrasil..the World Tree..and could only be reached by crossing the bridge called Bifrost..humans during the 'viking era' thought that was what a rainbow was during those times)

Now, I know Hitler turned away from Christianity in his teens, but let me assure you that the occult and paganism are not the same. In pagan times, magic was left to Volves and Shamans..mostly 'wise women' who were schooled in the Runes and in herbal remedies. Your average pagan at that time had thier gods/goddesses to whom they prayed to. Just as Probably all pagans did. And I have never seen anything on Nazis saying ..'Hail Odin' or 'Hail Thor'.

We all know how warped Hitler was..for some reason believing blond hair/blue eyes meant something 'super'..I don't think he connected all these beliefs with the viking pagan Norse. And he obviously had no clue that red hair is also a Norse trait..from Norway not Ireland. And as we all know, Norwegians were also pagan..worshipping the very same gods/goddesses. He studied quite feverishly with literature by Alestair Crowley..the Dark Arts as it is known. Nothing to do with paganism there.

With all due respect, Danish, there is only one major group of people killing in the name of religion today and they are not Christians....either converting them or subjugating them.

Just what Christians did for so many, many years. Convert or die..can this be denied? No, it can't. Problem is, those were atrocities committed hundreds upon hundreds of years ago.As were the Witch Trials..I speak not of the ones here in the US, I speak of the ones in Europe. In a span of 9 years, in Germany alone, an estimated 100,000 men, women and children were murdered for being accused of witchcraft..and by whom? Christians. Islam needs to catch up and get into the correct century. I am not bashing Christians for what they did to my ancestors. That would be pointless..they are LONG DEAD now.
