But that doesn't matter to them. It's their view that your child is Muslim. According to them, he was born of a Muslim man, he's Muslim. I suppose a person could denounce being Muslim but that sounds rather dangerous in this day and age. You've probably seen the story of Abdul Rahman in Afghanistan (became Christian) or the story of the Muslim woman born and raised in Germany, shot by her own family because she wouldn't go to Turkey to live with an arranged husband (cousin). Sickening.
