The whole northern Ireland conflict---which included atrocious acts of violence and terrorism---is one that is fundamentally about Catholic-Protestant religious intollerance.And any fair reading of the ideology of the KKK would have to concede that they espouse a particularly virulant form of Christian identity and extremism, which included violent acts against Jews and racial minorities. And of course the Christian pro-life movement has in its most extreme form have committed violence against doctors and clinics. So, Christianity is not immune from extremism (Christianism), nor from fundamentalist inspired violence.
