Religions - Conditional Love

Religion and "unconditional love". I disagree. Religion is the very essence of conditional love. They all say, you will be saved IF you do xyz. It is the "if" that shows that love from religion is conditional. Those who choose to ignore the "if you do xyz" commandment and follow their own path instead are damned, not saved.

How is that unconditional love?
