Christian terrorismReader comment on item: Distinguishing between Islam and Islamism Submitted by Mark Higgins (United Kingdom), Apr 27, 2007 at 07:41 The KKK and other groups are described as being Christian groups who see violence as a religious precept (like some muslims). But in Christianity there is an authority, the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church alone speaks for Christianity. So KKK may have a religion but it isn't Christian in the fullest sense of the word. Only the doctrines of the Infallible Catholic Church- founded by Christ- can be taken as representing Christianity. The Catholic Church is the only place where authority rests in Christianity... A problem with much dialogue between muslims and Christians is the utter ignorance on behalf of muslims that Christianity is the faith expressed by the Catholic Church. Christianity is not protestantism. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
