in response to reader comment: Saddam had WMDs

"We're making and selling fuel made from corn right now."

Ok honestly, I think that's pretty cool - hopefully it's not as polluting as oil? We could all do with a lot less pollution on the planet! I hope some day a clean and alternative fuel become accessible to everyone.

Back to the topic at hand and your post JustMe:

"As far as Saddam Hussein, you might ask France, the Russians, China, and Germany. It seems they were profitting greatly from selling Saddam weapons. Hey, aren't they the ones who didn't want us to take him out?!! Wow, what a coincidence!!! I bet that was a bit embarrassing for them when those facts were uncovered-- kind of like being caught with your shorts down, don't ya think?"

I agree - politics are HORRIBLE in my opinion - it's the normal folk like the rest of us who pay the price of politics and governments. If we boil all this down - most of the people on this website (I have to assume), are normal citizens hoping to get along with their lives in their respective countries, we shouldn't stoop to insulting & hating one another because politics or our politians made us believe we're enemies of sorts. I'm pretty sure if we all met at a party or any social gathering (not discussing our political views), we would all probably get along quite well as people don't you think? Let's not allow politics to divide people in this way, let's agree to disagree and stand united against terrorism and the killing of civillians in any country. I think this would be an enormous step forward.

I for one, am Muslim, I do not condone, approve of or agree with the killing of civillians ANYWHERE. One of the things Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) always stressed was the killing of civillians was WRONG and a SIN. Islam is a lovely religion, I am sad that some people are giving a bad impression of it to others, I wish more people interested in learning and understanding true Islamic values would read more about it from proper sources. I do not approve of the burning of flags or the burning of missionaries or embassies. I am 100% sure more Muslims are of the same opinion than there are terrorists - stop generalising please! When you generalise and people see all this anti Islam hate, it makes it harder and harder for those who are trying to be objective and fair about all this to remain so - all you achieve is to push tolerant minded people to the edge, is this what you really want? Nothing is ever won by hate or violence is it? (This is for everyone - Muslims, Christians and Jews).

Again, good day to everyone.
