Armageddon,

There are lots of Muslim girls named Sarah. My own cousin's name is Sarah, I also have a friend named Sarah. There is a famour actress in our country named Sarah. Also, my father's distant cousin had the same name. They are all Muslims, and I always thought this was a Muslim name.

We also have 'Hagar'- but we pronounce differently. In our country its pronounced 'Hajera' and its also a very common name. Sometimes two sisters in a family are called Sarah and Hajera. We believe that Hajera was the second wife of Ibrahim (PBUH) and she was very dear to her husband. I don't think the Muslims hates Sarah (at least not in our society. I don't know about Arab countries- may be Another one or Dima could clarify).

But name is a name, Armageddon. Sarah in this board is not responsible for her name, her parents named her, what can she do about it?

Thanks.
