Dear Libyan,
Men have the 'right' to marry 1, 2, 3, or 4 wives. Women also have the right to dirvoce their husbands if they don't like him. These are two different things. So I meant, if a husband marries another woman, and if the first wife doesn't like that, she is not bound by Islamic laws to spend the rest of her life with that husband and the co-wives. She has every right to leave that husband.

This is what I thought was true. I don't know abour teachings of Islam in your country, that could be different from ours. But enlighten me about the practice in your country if you think I am wrong.

And I am happy that you joined this board again. Thanks.
