Dear Libyan:

Abuse of prisoners by american soldiers was shameful and most have been tried and sentenced. Almost universally in America you will find no one praising this nor calling it the finest hours of americans. Contrast this to the public beheadings shown of totally innocent people and there is not a peep of disapproval in muslim lands. In fact, there is a general belief that any non-muslim killed in the name of jihad is somehow excusable. What was the fault of the poor 19 nepalese who were merely looking for work as cooks and drivers who were all killed by isurgents? Is this the peaceful and merciful Islam that you would have us look forward to being spread over the world? In fact, let us be honest, over and over we hear of the muslim "holy men" as Muktada Al-Sadr, Ayatollah Khomeini, etc, asking for help of God's that their enemies will be killed. At drop of hat a fatwa is released here or there any one deemed to have given slightest offense should be killed.

Anyway, west and Islam are incompatible, and in current state to avoid an all our clash of civilizations (which is probably underway) to avoid large scale death and destruction it is best if two sides simply do not engage in any non-commercial actions. It starts by both side accepting that the other does not like it and that no compromise is possible. Islam openly proclaims its hatred for the west - unless west openly declares that Islam is the #1 enemy to long term survival of western way of life west will continue to lose this war. Today certainly west is losing very badly, but I remain hopeful that in time some defense can be mounted. Today west is busy turning over large sums of money to islam for that money to turn around and fund madrasses and mosques that teach hatred of anything non islamic.

So, let us start by treating islam as enemy just as, in their wisdom, islam treats west as enemy. In this way islam is smarter than the west. And eventually the smarter side that views world as it is rather than some politically correct way will win this war - today i would have to say it will be Islam.
