"I agree with Freedom of Speech and all of that, but when a paper like this could care less about the any implications of it's publication, then they should be made to pay the ultimate price. Shut them down !"

- So you agree to the freedom of speech "and all of that"? Thats nice but its meerly a gainsaying as you apparently don't know the meaning of "the freedom of speech and all of that".

You cant control the media, can not even tell the medias what to publish or not. If someone opposes you it doesnt give you the right to shut them down eg freedom.

- As for your remarks about they "couldnt care less about the implications of its publications" it shows that you havent been around from the begining of this issue, september last year. If you have ANY intention to get to the very bottom of this matter, start to read all the comments and them come back to continue this discussion.

"The publication of 'cartoons' as they are called, have caused deaths, riots, and mayhem across the Muslim world. And it's not going to stop there ! "

- See I was of the impression the in these muslim controlled (non-democracies) the "government" is in control of the people, the army and the medias. If people are rioting here it must be with the approval of their "governments", but you see its only muslims who are dying. You then continue with "And it's not going to stop there !" - so lets see what is about to happen.

The Government of Denmark needs to step in and take ownership for the situation at hand, along with taking action on those responsible for this embarrassing situation.

- Well for one thing, basis for a charge with high treason against the Danish Imams iwho made 3 more cartoons wereafter they tried to inflame to hatered against denmark on their trip to the middleast is now being examined.

"Take action against those reponsible for this embarrassing situation"
- we might do that when we cut of all the foreign aid to those countries that holds our democracy in such contempt. or even better when we pass the next resolution on you, that USA would like us which in the end means more bombs from the air.
