Moral compass needs recalibratingReader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark? Submitted by Martin (Atheist fundy) (United Kingdom), Feb 3, 2006 at 05:37 Ahmed, you readily join in a boycott of Danish products, knowing that as a result employees of Danish companies, no doubt starting with those in your part of the world, are losing their jobs as a direct result. You then contrive an excuse that allows you to continue to accept money from your own Danish employer. If you had the courage of your convictions you would quit your job.The employees at ARLA are no more responsible for the cartoons published by Jyllandsposten than the employees at your company. Does your boycott extend to your fellow workers? Hypocrite! Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
